These MoCo’s feature many proven, durable components found on current John Deere machines, like the heavy duty impeller conditioning system with swinging steel tines. They’re significantly stronger than plastic for more positive pickup and faster field speeds. The low profile, rotary cutterbar is completely supported by the machine’s frame, reducing the amount of stress and strain on the cutterbar.

500 Series Side-Pull MoCo’s
Require increased productivity? Experience it … with the John Deere 500 Series Side-Pull Mower Conditioners. The standard hydraulic tongue swing makes it easy to position the MoCo right behind the tractor for a transport width that’s the same as the cutting width. In the field, 500 Series MoCo’s are packed with features to give you the best cutting and conditioning available.
Classic Side-Pull MoCo’s
Reliable. Easy to maintain. Simple to use. There’s a reason John Deere 1355 and 1365 MoCo’s are a classic. The durable cutterbar is suspended from the rugged frame for top performance at faster working speeds. John Deere conditioning systems keep pace for higher throughput and thorough conditioning.
700 Series Centre-Pivot MoCo’s
Push your operation’s productivity forward with the 730 and 735 MoCo’s. With their centre pivot design, you can mow on either the right or left hand side, making back and forth mowing easy. Your windrows will always be parallel, making pick-up or tedding operations much easier. Or, for even more efficient pick-up, equip your 700 Series MoCo with an optional windrow grouper.
Front-mounted MoCo’s
Front mounted MoCo’s are the perfect machines to cut in small spaces or odd shaped fields. Their excellent manoeuvrability makes them easy to operate and their frontmounted design elimates the need to drive over standing crop.
Rear-mounted MoCo’s
The 381, 388 and 488 MoCo’s feature two rear mounted mower conditioners fitted on one rear frame, in combination with a 131 front mounted mower. The 381 gives you an overall cutting width of 8.1 m, while the 388 and 488 gives you an 8.8 m width.
And the hydraulic left and right swing of the mowers makes it easy to get the perfect cut during sharp turns. The system connects directly to your tractor’s SCV’s so you can control operations without leaving the tractor’s cab.

Low-Profile Cutterbar
The John Deere 500/700 Series MoCo’s feature a low profile cutterbar design that improves both cutting performance and forage quality. The cutterbar cuts low to the ground at a flatter angle. Cutting lower to the ground helps you harvest more crop and the razor-like cut helps promote faster re-growth. The flatter angle reduces wear on cutterbar components and reduces the chance of damage in stony fields.
Conditioning Systems
Proven John Deere conditioning systems for overall forage quality. John Deere conditioning systems can significantly reduce drying time and quick, simple adjustments make it easy to match conditioning levels to field conditions. Steel tines on the John Deere impeller conditioner gently rub the crop together to remove the waxy layer. Each robust tine swings freely to reduce the potential for damage from stones and other solid objects. And John Deere impellers are individually balanced to eliminate vibration.
